The Wheatsheaf bar, beer garden, and hotel rooms remain fully open during our restaurant refurbishment so you can still join us for drinks and a stay.

As part of our ongoing renovations our restaurant and kitchen will be closed from this Monday 8th June. There will be no food service whilst these areas are closed.

Our grand reopening will be in four weeks on Friday 4th July.

We will reopen with an exciting new menu developed by Ethan McCafferty.

Ethan brings his Michelin restaurant experience to the kitchens at the Wheatsheaf with a menu designed to complement the inn’s heritage and refurbished restaurant ambiance.

Bookings now being taken for opening weekend so please book and join us to try our exciting menu and fantastic new wines and beers.

Not forgetting our private dining and event room that is also undergoing a refurbishment that’s perfect for your special celebrations and events.
